A platform for researchers around the world

Counting Women's Work provides resources for a number of country teams to develop gender data on their economies.  These data consist of National Transfer Accounts estimates, which measure the age dimension of the market economy, disaggregated by sex.  They also include National Time Transfer Accounts, which measure the unpaid care work economy by age, also disaggregated by sex. CWW is affiliated with other research projects within the NTA research network that are producing consistent, comparable gender-disaggregated data.  Click the links below for information on country teams or affiliated teams.

Beyond supporting country team research, CWW provides a platform for researchers from other countries to contribute to the growing field of knowledge, through the exchange of ideas, participation in training and other events.  We conduct dissemination activities in CWW countries and international venues around the world.
